The folks over at the Dev Team have released an update to the redsn0w jailbreak tool, bringing it’s current release candidate version to 16. This release corrects some battery drain problems as well as a reported vibration fault too.
Apple released their latest iOS firmware yesterday which fixed the “location bug” whereby iDevices were tracking and storing user location data. Thankfully the firmware is still vulnerable to i0n1c’s exploit, so jailbreaking the devices in an untethered manner is still possible.
