It will come as no surprise that devoted jailbreak dev MuscleNerd has successfully jailbroken iOS 6. Using an iPod Touch running the iOS 6 beta 1 firmware, he has managed to jailbreak the device albeit in a tethered manner and in no way suitable a format to run Cydia or make available for a public released.
As expected, following the WWDC event yesterday, Apple has released an update to iTunes. This brings the latest version to 10.6.3. The main reason for it’s roll out is to support Apple’s release of iOS 6 beta 1, which Apple made available for developers to download following the WWDC keynote speech.
Seas0nPass updated their toolset to jailbreak AppleTV 2nd Generation 5.0.2 firmware first, but hot on their heels, the folks at Sn0wBreeze have updated their Windows based tool to version 2.96 which enables those without a Mac to untethered jailbreak their AppleTV.
Apple rolled out an update to their hobby product the AppleTV just a few days ago. Thankfully this can still be jailbroken.
