Fast on the heels of the iOS 4.3.4 (or 4.3.9 for Verizon users) Apple have released iOS 4.3.5 (or 4.3.10 for Verizon users).

Apple’s release notes suggest that “A security issue has been resolved with certificate verification” was the reason for this release.

We won’t be updating to this firmware since it, like it’s 4.3.4 predecessor, will close the exploit hole used  to jailbreak iOS devices in an untethered manner. redsn0w can be used in order to jailbreak this release if you’ve accidentally updated, but you will be looking at a tethered jailbreak.

The release of 4.3.5 brings us ever closer to the expected autumn release of iOS 5.
