Apple’s WWDC keynote yesterday saw iOS 6 being unveiled to the world. There were a number of feature showcased as well as key improvements and changes to the portable operating system Apple’s iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches run.
A recent nugget of delight comes in the form of FacebookThis. Quite simply, once install, it adds the ability to send a photo straight to Facebook from your camera roll. It’s free and available to download from the BigBoss repo, which is, by default, installed on all jailbroken iDevices.
We’ve already shown how you can jailbreak your iOS 5.1.1 device using Absinthe 2.0 however there are other tools out there to achieve the same thing. Today we’re going to take a look at Sn0wBreeze, a Windows only jailbreaking application.
I decided to take a holiday to France with my family and the day we left I was browsing Twitter in the ferry terminal when, to my delight, I saw a tweet by @pod2g saying he’d finally managed to get the untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak completed. Apple released iOS 5.1.1 on the 7th May. As always, iTunes tends to get a tempramental when it comes to grabbing firmware updates therefore you may well find it easier to download directly from Apple’s servers using the listed links.
Apple has released iTunes 10.6. Suitable for both Mac and Windows, safe for jailbreakers, you should download and update.
